Grants
CIRGO, working with funding partners and expert advisors, solicits and reviews potential applications from low- and middle-income country investigators who have solid ideas for implementation research projects in global oncology. Project should demonstrate both local contextual relevance and well as generalizability to other LMICs. Solicitations are made oncer per year and based on availability of funding. Awards are intended to fund focused, roughly 1-year projects.
Projects should take specific aspects of the cancer care system, say screening, and then create implementation projects to explore important questions about cancer diagnosis and care in LMICs. All projects should be limited to one year in duration, with clearly defined aims, objectives, timelines, and budgets. The process for 2023 applications has been modified and live applications will not be accepted for this year.
